Unique and one of a kind wall art made from 1.3 mm thick reclaimed aluminum, hand cut and hammered for dimension and rigidity. Ready to hang from a sturdy hanging bracket tack welded to the back.

Painting was as fun as eating a banana split: loose, gestural brush strokes lay a base for chocolate, mint, and strawberry ice creams topped with shiny hot fudge, whipped cream, and glossy maraschino cherries. The ice creams rest on a banana, as is the way, and a stylized blue glass dish rounds out the bottom of the composition. Rainbow nonpareils are the finishing touch! All elements of the painting have been outlined in a bold black for the classic pop art look, and the banana and dish are accented with white and blue dots.

💙 The hammering process creates small nicks and scratches on the surface of the piece, especially the curved areas. To me they are very subtle and a cool example of the hand hammering process.
