Pesky Racer

$200.00

12 x 12 "

Who wins all the races with the cutest of faces? It's PESKY!

This original painting created on hand shaped aluminum is the latest incarnation of Anka's original character Pesky LeScoot, a fun loving, scooter riding, trouble causing gang of cats. Is Pesky the brand of scooter? A group name? The individual name they all share? Who knows, Pesky isn't telling.

Acrylic painting on metal is ready to hang and is protected with a Matte clear coat. A grinning black cat with huge eyes and their little tongue out stares through the visor of their yellow helmet sculpted to fit around their ears. The background is a pop art style abstract radiating from the center in alternating color rays of pale blue and bright fuchsia with gray and red shading around the cat. Thin white lines slice between the color fields, and Pesky's head is outlined with a thick black line surrounded by a second, thinner white outline.
