Pawl Hollywood is not impressed with this tea party!
Funny and surreal painting features a strangely large gray cat with piercing blue eyes sitting on a table set for an elaborate tea party. Its paw is outstretched, caught in the act of knocking over a pretty teal teacup. A striped tablecloth with contrasting florals is covered with macarons, artisanal chocolates, a large pink cake decorated with cherries, a chocolate strawberry trifle, and blackberries in whipped cream. Confetti and ribbon curls are strewn about, in the background a tiered display holds mini sandwiches and cupcakes, and to the right is a large bouquet of peony, tulips, crabapples, allium, hydrangea and clover in a tall blue ceramic vase. The wallpaper is a creamy yellow with stylized red flowers with minty stems, partially covered by twisted purple and green streamers and a gold fringe garland.
✿ Please note colors on your screen may not match the art in person. ✿
Prints are Not hand signed or numbered. Artist's signature is incorporated into the tablecloth in the bottom right corner of the print.
