Original and one of a kind wall art made from hand shaped sheet aluminum formed into a gorgeous and surreal cat face. Handmade by the art duo behind AGblend13. Ready to hang from a firmly attached aluminum backing. Art weighs 2 pounds 10 ounces.
Completely hand painted with vivid acrylics. A soft purple cat face toned with peach and magenta darkens to a deep cobalt blue around the edges, which blends to a black starry sky on the curving ears. The large eyes are mostly shades of orange with flecks of green, blue, and yellow, casting a warm glow on the surrounding fur enhanced by a wash of day-glow fluorescent paint. The fur swirls from the face up the forehead where a spiraling rainbow cloud is littered with planets, moons, comets, and celestial artifacts. Many elements have been enhanced with fluorescent paint which makes the art appear to glow even in natural daylight. The tiny hairs down the nose and muzzle have been painstakingly hand painted, finished off by long whiskers over the subtle smile only a cat can make.
~ Art is both bold and subtle, and some details are difficult to capture in photos. Day-glow neon paint has been used on the eyes and surrounding fur but please note this effect does not actually glow in the dark. Art is protected with a Satin clear coat, slightly shinier than matte without being glossy. Brush strokes are visible from certain angles.
