Wood Bot and the Night Blooming Banana Split
4.5 x 4.5"
Original acrylic painting created on a handmade base of paper mache on wood. This is a new medium I have been experimenting with, creating painting supports that are lightweight with beautiful subtle texture. Art comes ready to hang.
The continuing adventures of Wood Bot...
A delicate and detailed mini painting created in a sepia colorway. This piece depicts Wood Bot kneeling in a forest clearing at night, surrounded by small leaves and flowers as it gazes upon the luminous glow of a night blooming banana split. The strange plant has three scoops of ice cream with little faces, and long floppy leaves reminiscent of a banana peel. Lookyloo trees in the shadowy background see all from their large round eyes.
➽ Painting is protected with a Satin clear coat.
