Over land or under sea?

Is it bear or is it bee?

Hide your cakes and sweet honey,

Lest bumblebear join you for tea.

💛

This artwork is made from reclaimed 22 gauge mild steel sheet metal. The piece is durable with a nice heft, but can easily be hung from a small nail. Edges are manually hemmed and folded to the back which leaves attractively rounded sides. The bumblebear is hand hammered from the back using a custom form, and gently curves forward from the front of the piece.

Art is lovingly hand painted and one of a kind. The background is a fade from gentle foamy green at the top to a periwinkle in the middle, lavender at the bottom. Clouds with fluorescent pink highlights float behind the hammered form of a yellow bumblebear, and tiny stars sprinkle the sky. Delicate pastel plants grow along the bottom of the composition and creep up the sides of the piece to a wiggly jelly rainbow curving over the scene.

Clear coated in Matte.
