Kitty Ping, Space Babe, poses on an asteroid and directs the viewer to look at a strange, planetary base. The distant base consists of three large domes and a broadcasting radio tower. The chartreuse sun casts a sickly glow on Planet X-86-4aL, call it Planet Xal for short. Kitty wears the latest in Compression Space Garb (CSG) in a stunning hot pink with orange accents, which serve as a delightful complement to her yellow fur. Her fashion forward helmet is designed for the contours of her head and allows ears to swivel unencumbered.

Reclaimed 26 gauge galvanized steel has been hammered into three distinct shapes, an asteroid, a planet and a sun. (See photo of back of piece) Hammering gives the artwork an interesting dimension and rigidity. All edges are hemmed to the back and the piece comes ready to hang with a custom galvanized steel metal clip.

This artwork is entirely hand painted and its unique aesthetic will make it a standout piece anywhere you display her. Spacesuit, asteroid and sun are painted with dayglow neon accents, which pop even in low-light conditions.

All shapes were hammered from the back; the asteroid extends out the farthest and has a noticeable dimpled texture. Planet Xal is lightly textured, and the sun is painted on a perfect bump.

➡ In forming this metal piece the top and bottom have faint ripples as a result of the tooling which are noticeable under certain angles and light conditions ⬅

Clear coated in Matte.

(not pictured) both our signatures and logo are hand engraved on the back of this special piece.

Our dimensional metal art is lighter weight than wood and more durable than canvas. Please display indoors and out of direct sunlight.
